A black IPA that is dry and bitter, but balances out as the roast flavor finishes.
Our version of the black IPA started as what was referred to in 2010 as a Cascadian Dark Ale, a style hailing from the Pacific North West. While still commonly referred to as a Cascadian Dark, in 2013, the BJC classified this style as a black IPA.
When brewing this awesome beer in his garage, our brewmaster would always look to see if he could see bubbles. For this beer, we could always see what we call the yum, yums (hop particles) which created a Starry Night.
