Gose (pronounced like GO-SUH) is an ancient sour and saline tasting ale. A Gose will be tart and refreshing, yet not too salty. Our contemporary version looks to impart the aroma and flavor of key lime pie or a lime starburst. It is kettle soured using a house blend of lactobacillus and brettanomyces and fermented with our house ale yeast. We replaced the traditional coriander with lime zest, our salt is infused with lime and we add Wakatu hops from New Zealand, which have subtle floral and lime character. Delicious and refreshing on a warm day.
